FUTUREFORM MODULAR LTD – Principal Contractors

PROJECT: 2016 – November 2017.

1 Hockley Road, Nottingham,


Appointed in 2016 to build an 8 storey building to create ground floor to basement retail with 131 student apartments.

The project design stage started on the 2-2-2016.

DMC Global where appointed on the 2-2-2016 as the project design coordinators to drive the project on behalf of the principal contractor.


The Construction phase started on site on the 16-5-2016.

The project got so far as the basement works which involved the locating & the filling in of underground Caves with concrete, with the caves being as low as 7 meters below ground level


Around 40% of the basement construction works where completed before works ceased on site in May 2017 due to the previous owners going into administration.


DMC Global where appointed by the administrators in November 2017 to June 2018 to oversee & provide the Health & Safety, the Security & relevant Insurances for the 1 Hockley site until new owners/purchasers where found for the site.


We at DMC Global Construction are now continuing with completing the site with the new owners Marfleet Estates Ltd by way of providing Construction Management services on Anchor House Construction's their behalf, right up to completion of the project in readiness for the student tenants occupation in 2020.

PROJECT: 2015 – 2016

Construction Site Manager (DMC Global Construction Management services)

Berkeley Homes (Kent) Ltd, Holborough Lakes, Snodland 

Residential Development of 1,250 dwellings

Set in a redundant quarry adjacent to the Medway town of Snodland, Holborough is a unique development site of 1,250 dwellings set amongst attractive landscaping and water features. The Masterplan for the site is divided into 12 separate phases with their own distinct character and identity, but still respecting the traditional Kent vernacular.

The first phases have been built in a ‘New England’ style in various colours of weatherboarding. The entrance ‘Boulevard’ leads past a linear form of apartments either side of a tree lined avenue to the rest of the development. Later phases include contemporary lakeside apartments, a convenience store, gym and further dwellings to complete the transition to the Kent vernacular.

Project value £20 million. 



Construction Site Manager (DMC Global Construction Management services)

Erith Park | Wates Living Space, Waterhead Close, Off Larner Road, Erith, Kent, DA8 3RJ
A part of a site team in the delivery of a 620-home regeneration of Larner Road in Erith in London Borough of Bexley.

Orbit will replace six high-rise blocks with 620 family homes for around 2,000 people, the work started on site March 2013.

The five-year scheme is being funded by the Homes & Communities Agency and represents one of the largest projects of its type in London. Other partners are LB Bexley and architects Broadway Malyan.

The development is co-ordinated by Orbit Homes and the area managed by Orbit South. It is a mix of houses and low rise apartments for rent, sale and low cost home ownership.
This project is nearing the end of phase 1, start of phase 2.

The Modular steel frame & timber frame construction of 3 residential units with associated fit out. The project involved the off-site construction of modular units, transportation to each of the Ideal Home Exhibition shows, (Earls Court & SECC Scotland). The onsite construction & finishes. Following on from the shows. The units were then transported to the Dumfries House Estate (owned by HRH Prince Charles), where they are now inhabited by some of the Royal Staff

The Construction of a new Panelised steel frame show home built within an industrial unit to HA spec (Code 5)

Responsible for the full project from initial planning, supervising the off-site construction of the modular units (Manufactured in China by CMBN), logistics, onsite construction, liaising with all stakeholders, health & safety and quality.

Abbey Place – Minster, Isle of Sheppey

Multi-phase development of traditional build housing. Current phase totals 50+ units.

Responsible for preparing units for CML, customer care, NHBC inspections and HA inspections.

Langshott Park – Horley, Surrey

A phase of 28 traditional build HA units comprising of apartments and houses. Responsible for taking units from foundations through to handover.

Responsible for short-term programs and maintaining master program, coordinating & managing subcontractors, ordering materials & plant, progress reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, Health & Safety, site inspections, snagging & de-snagging, preparing units for CML, NHBC & HA inspections, handovers and customer care.

SCANDINAVIAN HOMES LTD Construction Director

Responsible all construction projects from initial planning, the off-site construction of the timber framed panelised units manufactured by Gotenhus of Sweden, (the 2nd largest Housing developer in Sweden) logistics, onsite construction, liaising with all stakeholders, health & safety and quality.

Constructed 25 residential flats, which was a combination of modular and traditional build

47 modular and traditional build key worker flats.

The health and safe on these projects were taken to the highest level as this entailed articulated lorries, loaded with modules weighing 9-11 Tons, being safely co-ordinated with a range of 100 ton to 350 ton cranes lifting in modules in busy built up areas and with high speed Network Rail lines within 6 metres of the site boundary. This meant working closely with Council officials at the highest level and gaining their trust as a competent as a safety aware builder.

Dunton Green – Sevenoaks - (next to Dunton Green Train Station)

Demontfort Park – Singleton, Ashford

Returned to Singleton Hill, Ashford project as Site Manager to complete site for year end. This was achieved successfully including all CML’s.


Silverdale – Kennington, Ashford

Opportunity to complete phases 6 & 7 of an old Wilson Connolly site. The final two phases comprised of 50 timber frame units at varying stages of construction.


Demontfort Park – Singleton, Ashford, kent

77 traditional build plots.
